Yes, it has been along time since I've posted anything on this blog, I apologize. I decided that the burnout and writer's block was my brain's way of telling me to take a creative break, in order to recharge. So, I took the month of July off to enjoy the summer and not force myself to create when I didn't have the drive to do so. One thing that I did participate in was a campaign for Dove Advanced Repair Deodorant sponsored by Influenster.

So, here is what I honestly thought about the deodorant. So, whenever I get a full size product to test out, I am much happier than when I am sent a trial size. I think that it is much easier to test a product when you can use it like you would use any other product and it enables me to fully decide how I feel about it. When I opened the package that was sent from Influenster, I was delighted to find a full size that was coconut scented! This deodorant smells like tanning lotion, it reminds me of summer vacations from my childhood. This scent would be fantastic in the middle of a harsh winter when the mood changes due to the weather and short days. One whiff of this, and I'am immediately brought to a happy place.
Another benefit that I really like about using this deodorant is that it really does make my skin super soft I don't know exactly what they put in this magical deodorant, but it is lovely. When I apply this after shaving my underarms, there is ZERO BURN! My underarms tend to be a bit sensitive, especially after shaving, and this is super gentle on that delicate skin.
The most important benefit of this product is sweat protection, after all it is a deodorant and an antiperspirant. Over the past few weeks, we've have very hot and extremely humid days. This was the ultimate test for the product. This is supposed to last for 48 hours, but I didn't test it for that. I can say that it kept me dry and pleasant smelling. In fact, one day I left my Dove deodorant at a friends house and had to go back to my old deodorant; and that stuff (which shall remain nameless) did not hold up against the elements. I highly recommend this product to all my friends and readers. The product comes in a variety of scents that can appeal to most of you.
